The Tenino Stone Carvers are a collective of artists and craftsmen located in historic downtown Tenino, Washington.
Our mission is to create custom, one-of-a-kind works in stone for your home, your business, your garden and more. We work in all types of stone from hard rock to our native Tenino sandstone. We design and fabricate custom built fireplace surrounds, memorials, entrance and address markers, signs, engravings, sculpture, yard art and anything else you can imagine in stone. Our shop also specializes in historic restoration carving for stone architecture.
Please CONTACT US if you are interested in discussing your next stone project.
The Shed, our workshop in downtown Tenino, is open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Visitors can see the artists at work, purchase hand carved gifts and art, and even try stone carving for themselves. We offer classes for adults (Arbutus Folk School) and for kids (coming soon). Even if you simply want to learn more about Tenino's stone carving past we have lots of interesting history and photos to share.
Due of the nature of our work and our small staff our hours are subject to change so please check our CALENDAR for an up to date schedule. We do participate in events throughout the year that may cause our workshop to be closed during your visit.
